Eastside Presbyterian wants to strive to support families as they reveal the greatness of God to their children. We long for our children to know and love Jesus from their earliest days. Our volunteers and staff are friendly, trained, and excited about helping your son or daughter follow Jesus.
We have nurseries for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers during our morning groups and Sunday morning worship.
Children ages 3 through 5th grade meet in the Children's Church room for their groups. They join their families in the sanctuary for singing, and then ages 4 through 3rd grade have the option of attending Children's Church during the teaching time.
The protection of your children is a top priority. Every volunteer and staff member has been screened and has completed a background check. All volunteers work in pairs.
We long to see middle school and high school students love God's word and prayer, go deeper with Jesus and each other, become true worshipers, and loving and serving in Greenville and around the world.
Students in the 6th through 12th grades gather at the Snipes House (in the upper parking lot) on Sundays from 6:30-8pm for worship, teaching, fellowship, and fun. We teach through a book of the Bible, and about once a month, we have an evening of worship and prayer.
Discipleship groups meet weekly to encourage students who want to deepen their relationship with Jesus. Groups study God's word and pray. They meet at various times and locations throughout the week.
Approximately once a month, students gather for service projects, activities, or other events for all the students, which are designed to help us grow closer as a family. During the summer, students participate in local and foreign short term missions projects. These encourage students to step outside of their own worlds and comfort zones, teaching them to trust Jesus, to learn the love of service, and to see what God is doing in the community and around the world.
Even though our walk with God is personal, it's not intended to be private. We need people in our lives to help us follow Jesus, and others need us as well. As a church, we create opportunities for smaller groups to gather to build relationships and find encouragement. We long for you to be a part of one of these groups.
